Details
Looking for a fatbike without all the fat? Lightweight construction and nimble OutFront geometry make the FAT CAAD so agile and quick, you’ll want to ride it all year long. This monster truck brings it with a SmartFormed aluminum frame for a stiff, responsive ride that's also trim on weight, while Cannondale's Lefty Olaf fork brings 100mm of travel to the table. Tubeless-ready Sun Ringle rims roll with confidence-swelling strength, and Schwalbe tires conform to practically any terrain with flotation and traction. A Shimano XT/SLX drivetrain gives you an 11-speed setup that goes up as well as it goes down, and SRAM Guide brakes are just what you need to bring the action to a swift, modulated stop. Cannondale supplies their lightweight handlebars, stem, and a Fabric Scoop saddle so you can comfortably ride this smash-ready bike almost anywhere in any season.

I have been riding fat bikes for just over a year and this is my second, but have ridden many as the entire family rides together and that includes 8 bikes from 5 different manufacturers. This is the favorite for all of us. It inspires confidence, is fast/light and most of all nimble! (if you can say that of a fattie). I ride snow, and sandy trails including technical singletracks and also like to downhill. Looking forward to seeing what this bike is truly capable of. First 2 weeks (approx 60miles) have been OUTSTANDING!

Full disclosure here; I own Trailhead. I can ride any fat bike. I like the Felt DD30. Rides like a mountain bike with big floaty tires. I thought that was enough for me. Until I rode the FAT CAAD. that Leftie fork is amazing - corners with confidence and provides just enough suspension to compliment the tires. Like I said; I can ride any fat bike. But I CHOOSE the FAT CAAD
