Weekly Group Meetups

The following is a list of bike ride meetups. Please wear a helmet, carry water, a pump, spare tube, and have your bike in good working order. Please ride carefully and respectfully. Signing a waiver will be required. Cancellations will be posted to each ride as needed. Please check this site before you make your final plans to join a ride.

Evening Trail Ride with Dinner - Join Perkiomen Trail Nightriders for a fun evening ride including dinner at Appalachian Brewing Co. or My Friend's Tavern. Head and Tail Lights required for this ride. Mountain or Hybrid bikes are best, and the pace is "comfortable". It's about the scenery, not the speed. This ride is 24 mi. round trip and returns to Oaks by 8 or 8:30 p.m. Note: Don't want to do the full 24 miles? Catch this ride as it passes the Collegeville Diner and meet up with it there! Schuylkill River Trail Ride for the 50+ Rider. Meet in parking lot at Port Providence Trailhead. Bike 1-2 hrs/ 10-12 miles (depending on group) on SRT and/or Perkiomen Trail with Kathy Tauber, Phoenixville resident and SRT Trail Ambassador (610-935-7075). Inclement weather cancels ride.

Women's Road Bike Ride. Enjoy the hilly roads around the area on this 25-35 mile ride. Meet at Bikesport, ready to ride at 9:15 a.m. Back by 12:30. Expect a recreational pace, and no one is dropped. Ride leader: Ginny. Cell # 215-479-3808 Rain or lightning cancels ride. No ride 11/22.

Multi-surface Ride. Gravel or cross bikes are recommended. Terrain will be pavement, gravel & trail. Rear blinky light recommended. Expect 15 m.p.h. average on road sections, 13 m.p.h. on gravel sections and 10 m.p.h. on trail sections depending on conditions. Ride will keep rolling and keep it flex – there may be some exploring as well as some hammering. Ride leader is Glenn Stephenson @ 610.888.0219 (mobile).
