Bikesport supports, encourages, and offers various ways to cycle in and with our community.

Weekly Group Meetups

The following is a list of bike ride meetups. Please wear a helmet, carry water, a pump, spare tube, and have your bike in good working order. Please ride carefully and respectfully. Signing a waiver will be required. Cancellations will be posted to each ride as needed. Please check this site before you make your final plans to join a ride.

Evening Trail Ride with Dinner - Join Perkiomen Trail Nightriders for a fun evening ride including dinner at Appalachian Brewing Co. or My Friend's Tavern. Head and Tail Lights required for this ride. Mountain or Hybrid bikes are best, and the pace is "comfortable". It's about the scenery, not the speed. This ride is 24 mi. round trip and returns to Oaks by 8 or 8:30 p.m. Note: Don't want to do the full 24 miles? Catch this ride as it passes the Collegeville Diner and meet up with it there! Multi-surface Ride. Gravel or cross bikes are recommended. Terrain will be pavement, gravel & trail. Rear blinky light recommended. Expect 15 m.p.h. average on road sections, 13 m.p.h. on gravel sections and 10 m.p.h. on trail sections depending on conditions. Ride will keep rolling and keep it flex – there may be some exploring as well as some hammering. Ride leader is Glenn Stephenson @ 610.888.0219 (mobile).

This ride is fully supported with catered rest stops, bike support and SAG transportation. Invite your family and friends to cheer as you cross the finish line and enjoy a wonderful evening stroll on the boardwalk. Bikesport has offered SAG support for this ride for 23 years!

The 11th annual ride offers 5, 10, 25 and 50 mile route options, on scenic country roads and delicious post-ride food provided by Outback Steakhouse, Carraba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill. Ride benefits FARA (Friedrich's Ataxia Research Alliance) a debilitating, life shortening, degenerative neuro-muscular disorder. Rides across our nation have raised over $2.5 million to help find a cure.
