Bicycle Repair School
Although we offer a full service repair department, we are also happy to teach you how to work on your own bike. Whether you just want a better understanding of how your bike works or if you want to be able to have a solid knowledge of all the components, we have a class for you. Each registered student will be given 10% off all tools and parts for the duration of the class.
2020 Winter Term Course Roster
The FULL ON Course
|Four 2-hour sessions with one of our Certified Service Technicians. A hands-on, get greasy course for the cyclist who wants to become intimate with his/her bike. Includes brake and derailleur adjustment; cleaning; maintenance & lubrication; chain removal, cleaning & repair; tire removal, inspection & repair, overhauling hubs, headset, and bottom bracket; truing wheels. Also includes Park Home Repair Tool Kit and Park Repair Manual (valued at $135). Bring your bike. 4 students per class.|
Basic Bicycle Repairs
|One 2-hour session. Learn to perform minor repairs and adjustments; cleaning, repairing, and lubricating the chain; and inspecting and repairing flat tires. Includes road and trailside dilemmas like dropped or broken chains, tears in tire, and on-the-spot tubeless repair. Bring your bike. 4 students per class.|
Drive Train Cleaning
|Performing this simple task at home can add life to dirty chains and cassettes! Sign up to get the skills and tools needed to show your bike you care. Bring your bike. 4 students per class.|
