Ginny Politz

Ginny is the boss at Bikesport.  She owns and runs the place.  She works on the sales floor, runs offsite events, leads the Friday morning Womens' Ride, crunches numbers in her office, and makes sure that each customer is happy.

Peter Hall

Service manager and road cycing enthusiast, Peter gets the repairs done and cracks the whip in the service department to make sure all your needs are met.  Also our road bike fit expert, he will make sure your bike is fine-tuned to your body and riding style. 

Topher Valenti

Topher manages the Front End, but he serves the store in every capacity.  He has the technical know-how to fix all your bike issues.  He'll help you find the perfect bike or accessory, too.  He also races in the SS Expert and Elite Open classes for our Mountain Bike Team. 

Keith Ridenour

Keith is a man of many trades, but this year he is devoting a lot of time to cycling.  He is a real team player in the shop and is also a member of the Bikesport MTB team.  Although he is very involved with Bikesport, his full time job is being a Dad. 

We said farewell to Keith in July 2010, as he
moved on to Arizona with his family.  Good luck!

Jeff Lorish

Jeff has been with Bikesport since he was just 14 years old.  He has done his fair share of grunt work, but over the years he has become a vital part of the Bikesport service and sales staff.    Everyone knows him because he has an amazing enthusiasm for cycling.

Jim Zearfoss

Jim came to Bikesport in search of knowledge!  He wanted to know as much about bike fixin as he could in preparation for his ride across America, which he completed last summer.  Now he can boast his shop skills and his riding adventures! 

James Pinto

This is James' third season at Bikesport.  He will be a senior at Spring Ford High School this fall.  He rides road bikes, mountain bikes, and is the only Bikesport employee who can ride a unicycle!

Carmen

Carmen is finishing up her last semester at PSU this fall. She will be graduating with a degree in exercise physiology and going right to grad school at UNC Chapel Hill. Carmen is a big help in the shop and loves riding her new road bike!

Joe Liston

This is Joe's third season at Bikesport.  He is a whiz on the sales floor and loves riding bikes. He is a big asset to our mountain bike team but enjoys road biking also. Joe   finished his senior year at Spring Ford High School and will start school at the University of Pittsburgh in the fall.

Drew Williams

Drew has come back to Bikesport for another season.  You'll find him here on the weekends.  When he's not here, he's working for NFL Films or toying around with BMX bikes.

Nicole Bouza

Nicole is a senior at Temple University and is getting ready to graduate in the spring with a film degree. She has been into BMX riding for about 6 years now, doing competitions on and off.  She's great on the sales floor and we're glad to have her.

R. Gregory Politz

Greg's moved on to managing Edgartown Bicycles on Martha's Vineyard.  They are a full service bicycle shop that does a great rental business as well.  Heading up there?  Stop by and ask for Greg.

He tells us he'll be hanging out here in December, so look for him then.

Mallory Politz

Mallory, another Politz, has been lending a hand since age 6, and still does so on an "as needed" basis.  She's an enormous help keeping the website info updated and adding new photos.  Without Mallory, who would've gotten you to follow us on Twitter?

Maggie

Maggie is now thirteen years old... can you believe it?  She is a full time employee and probably the reason that most customers stop in so often!  In her old age, she has become less enthusiastic about being chased around by children and more inclined to take naps upstairs at her lookout spot, where she can lounge around while she keeps an eye on the store.  In her free time, she enjoys sleeping, eating, sniffing, and dragging her butt on the floor.  She hates having her picture taken, but loves chasing bunnies.  You can easily win her affection with treats.  Maggie is also a convicted felon, having robbed the pet shop across the parking lot of many bones and cookies!
